How does the estimate process work? We start with an on-site consultation to review your goals, existing conditions, and overall scope. After that visit, we typically provide a rough estimate to help you make an informed decision before final selections are made. Once you’re ready to move forward, we confirm scope, verify key details and materials, and provide a clear written proposal. A deposit is required to schedule and begin work and is outlined in the contract.
What deposit is required? Most projects require a total deposit of 33% of the contract price prior to starting work. For projects scheduled several months in advance, a 10% Scheduling & Mobilization Deposit may be collected to reserve your start date, with the remaining portion due prior to commencement. All deposits are credited toward the total contract price.
Are you licensed and insured? CBC Remodeling & Services LLC operates in compliance with Pennsylvania contractor requirements and carries appropriate insurance coverage. Documentation is available upon request.
Do you handle all trades? Yes. As a full-service general contractor, we coordinate licensed trades when required and manage scheduling so you have one organized, accountable point of contact throughout the project. If you have preferred contractors (especially for electrical, plumbing, or HVAC), we’re happy to work with them when possible—our team will still oversee coordination, scheduling, and scope to keep everything organized and on track.
